It has five main functions, including hardware EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) emulation, auto power on/off scheduling, SMART guard, I/O port protection, and remote repair. Thru Axiomtek’s RDM, system integrators and managed service providers can remotely manage multiple digital signage devices on the client-side in a cost-effective way.
Axiomtek’s advanced RMD platform supports hardware EDID emulation. This function plays an important role in the application of a multi-display video wall by resolving the communication problems between display and source. Once there is one of the displays out of order, the other displays of the video wall still can operate normally. Through the auto power on/off scheduling function, the digital signage devices can be automatically turned on or off at a specific time; even the large amount of devices is distributed in many different locations. In addition, they can monitor system voltages, temperatures and fan speeds from the dashboard of SMART guard on the RDM platform. Axiomtek’s RDM also offers I/O port protection to keep signage devices safe and secure in public spaces. This trustworthy function can prevent unexpected intrusion behavior. According to the real experiences, the most frequent problem that the retail business owners encounter is how to fix the abnormal digital signage devices in a short time.
