With up to two Performance-cores (P-core) and eight Efficient-cores (E-core), along with twelve threads, this system on module delivers superior performance while consuming less power. Its combination of performance, efficiency, and versatility makes it ideal for diverse edge computing applications, ranging from industrial automation and human-machine interfaces (HMI) to healthcare and machine control. In addition, engineered for exceptional performance in rugged industrial IoT environments, the CEM561 maintains reliable operation across temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for crucial tasks in land defense, navigation, roadside monitoring, and more.

The Intel® U Series-based CEMa561 offers one PCIe x4 Gen4 (PEG) and five PCIe Gen3 slots (or eight PCIe Gen3 slots by request). It also features four USB 3.2 and eight USB 2.0 ports, as well as one LPC, one SPI, two TX/RX, and real-time I/O (GPIO, UART, I2C). Networking capabilities are enhanced with a 2.5GbE port featuring the Intel® Ethernet Controller I226. HD audio signals are supported, and two SATA 3.0 ports are provided for storage purposes. Additionally, built-in TPM 2.0 ensures hardware security for authentication purposes.
